In Partnership – Trade Union
We are proud to collaborate with local community groups to work on our 2014 schedule. But just as important are the focused organizations that have asked us to popup in their events to provide consultation and service.
This month we collaborate with Trade Union, launching at the end of the month, a biannual event with a goal to bring together established and emerging brands from across the region in different disciplines for a day to celebrate and highlight each other. Trade Union is a reaction to the craft heavy shows that dominate the area and instead work with a small, handpicked group of businesses that stress creativity and design.
The event will be hosted by a group of Pittsburghers that are enthused with the positive changes across the city’s design community; Emily Slagel (Mid-Atlantic Mercantile), Jason Seltzer (J. Seltzer Associates), Merissa Lombardo (The Mine Factory/Set Design). The vendors include:
Moop: Waxed canvas mens/womens bags
Red Raven: Porcelain keepsakes
1820 House Candle Co: Hand-poured candles
The Ardent Forager: Vintage housewares
Mid Atlantic Mercantile: Fine clothing and heirloom quality goods
Kicky Feet Vintage: Women’s vintage
Royal Establishment: Men’s vintage
Perry & Co: Custom furniture
Stocking Noir: Women’s legware
Stak Ceramics: Handmade ceramic housewares
Harvest & Gather: Event design & gifts
Brooklynteriors: Hand screen-printed wallpaper
Graham’s Barber Shop: Classic barber shop; onsite cuts, shaves
Come, gather, and celebrate good design with us.
The first event will be held at The Mine Factory on March 29th from 11am-6pm (happy hour from 4-6pm).
