Sarah Mayer, principal partner of Shift Collaborative, said, “We primarily work with start-up companies. Many of whom are in the venture capital cycle and do not have the support to hire a good designer to create a logo or the media relations experience to announce news. This is a great way for a company at an early growth stage to get public relations, design or marketing services for an outstanding price.”

UpTo is arranged like a same-day tax service. Customers can walk in or schedule an appointment, meet with a professional to discuss their needs and receive the finished product by the end of the day. Services can be secured by debit or credit card. Customers must have an email address.

“Both Eric and I teach our profession,” said RJ Thompson, principal partner of Shift.  “We often challenge our students to complete design and public relations tasks in a short time as a teaching mechanism because it gives them a real world application.  At Shift, we are often challenged to turn over good quality work in short time. We think this could be a great exercise for us to provide these services at a low cost and to deliver quality as we always do for our clients.”

Shift Collaborative’s offices are located in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood. Shift works with do-gooders and risk-takers, those who create economic and social change with inventive ideas and passionate energy.  For more information about Shift visit www.shiftcollaborative.com.
